North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District received funding from the Nevada Division of Forestry and the Incline Village General Improvement District to complete tree and brush removal throughout Incline Village, including in the Upper Tyner, Incline Pines, and Tyrolia areas. North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District manually treated 175 acres. 114 acres were treated with prescribed fire and 61 acres were hand thinned and pile burned.
