Otero has over 15 years of experience in assisting community organizations plan, fund, and implement events and projects. Along with her part time position with the Nevada Fire Safe Council, she assists other non-profit organizations in securing grant funding.
Before coming to The Nevada Fire Safe Council Otero owned and operated a small business where she was responsible for oversight of the annual operating budget, programming and the supervision of personnel.
Otero received a Bachelors degree in Communications with a Public Relations emphasis from California State University Fullerton.
